Delta Group - Shamim Food

Delta was born when Mr. Ghasemi and two Nasiri brothers founded Production Group in Shiraz, Iran. This company produced, packaged, and exported Iranian food items to foreign markets. Due to extreme popularity of these products in all markets the company soon ballooned encompassing and forming the following companies:

Companies operated individually, however, together they were known as Delta Group of Companies. These separate entities came together to form one of Middle East's first and biggest food production and distribution groups. Today Delta is still growing and prospering.

Shamim Products (produced by Teeyon Dasht)

Teeyon Dasht Agro-Industires produces a variety of pickles, pastes, juices, jams, and sauces under Shamim and Namakin brandnames. Having been established in 1981, it has over 5 hectares of agricultural farm land and over 2.5 hectares of industrial and office buildings.

As with all Delta products, Teeyon Dasht goods are produced in accordance to ISO9002 standards.

Teeyon Dasht is proud of its Research and Development department, which includes research using microbiology and other forms of science. In these labs Teeyon Dasht has invented some of the most intriguing and successful farming methods in the Middle East.

Teeyon Dasht products are frequently exported to U.A.E., Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, U.K., Australia, Malaysia, Sweden, Denmark, Russia, Canada and United States.

Teeyon Dasht, has been the largest food exporting company for two consecutive years in Iran.

Aseh Licorice Manufacturing
"Licorice for world markets"

Licorice plant is known in botany as Glycyrrhiza which means "sweet root" in Greek. The history of licorice is as old as the history of medicine and confection.

Aicenna (Ibn-Sina) the famous Iranian physician used this plant in treating his patients nine centuries ago. Nowadays different products made from licorice are used for different purposes and in various industries such as tobacco, medicine, and foodstuff in Europe and North America.

Glycyrrihza Glabra, one of the varieties of licorice grows widely and perennially in some parts of Iran. This licorice benefiting from favorable climate conditions, rich soil and superior variety of plant, has the best quality and has been the focal point in the world market for the past 50 years.

Aseh Manufacturing Co., a major wing of Delta Manufacturing Group, is one of the largest manufacturers of licorice extracts and powder. Aseh manufactures its products without applying chemical treatments. It produces licorice in the forms of spray, dried powder, block juice, semi-liquid paste, and more.

Fars Kabkaab

Fars Kabkaab is responsible for purchasing and packaging various kinds of dates, nuts, and dried fruits.

With use of the most modern equipment for cleansing, processing, and packaging Fars Kabkaab is able to put out some of the world's leading food items. Thanks to its Research and Development and Quality Control departments in addition to its experienced personnel, Fars Kabkaab has won many national and international awards for production and export of its dates.

Fars Kabkaab, like all other Delta companies, is proud of its exceptional quality. It believes that the key to success is a clean manufacturing environment, a reliable product line, a full inventory, and wonderful consumer relations.

Fars Kabkaab produces variety of dates including pressed, individual, pitted, non-pitted, pastes, syrup, and date honey. Production ranges from 200 Gr to 10 Kg (Bulk) packages. Date Production comes in various forms of Fresh, Semi dried, and Dried dates. The company produces around 20 types of dates, known as: Mazafati, Sayer, Rabbi, Gasb, Piyarom, Kabkab, and etc. These products are often exported to U.K., Germany, Canada, United States, Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.

Demes

Delta's meat processing and packaging unit, Demes, is one of Iran's largest and best meat processing plants. It produces upward of 80 different products in any given year and has an employee base of close to 200. Demes, offers various types packaging for beef, chicken, and Lamb, with the highest quality and standards to be submitted to the market. It encompasses over 50,000 squared meters of land, which includes over 9000 squared meters of production space.

All of Demes' products (deli and cold meats) are produced in accordance to ISO9002 standards and are of the highest quality thanks to a vigorous quality control process.

Ramak Dairy

One of Iran's largest producers of dairy products, Ramak was establish in 1984. Its processing plant is located in a 150,000 squared meter land with over 35,000 squared meters in industrial buildings.

Ramak produces over 50 products using over 150 M. tons of milk during any given day.

Ramak dairy goods are produced using standards from Germany, Sweden, and Denmark. It uses state of the art spray drying technology to produce many goods such as powdered milk.

The plant produces:

Variety of Cheese, including pizza base cheese
Variety of Yogurt, including low fat, non fat, fruit and shallot yogurt, yogurt soda and cream
